I just wanted to share with everyone that I have been following Wet Wolf's custom plan that he designed for me, to lean up a little bit for a photo shoot....and I really love it. It has taken the guesswork out of eating for me, and it tells me how many ounces to eat, and each eating day corresponds to a specfic day of my training.
The amount of food has been plentiful, given me lots of energy, and for once in my life.....I don't feel that I am suffering while I lean up. The other thing that I like is being able to check in with Wet Wolf any time I have a question, or just want to tell him that I'm doing great with my training and diet. That is the difference between a cookie cutter plan, and having a great coach who stands behind his work, and champions my sucess. |

LOL @ the picture, that's adorable. I'm not surprised you've had good results. His basic rules are sound and they are nearly identical to what finally took the layer of lard off of me. I can only imagine that his individual advice is even better.
By the way, you look great missmg. I know you got some shit on T-Nation, and that was bullshit. Your pics are great and you look awesome. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the rest of us. |

I love it, because it doesn't FEEL like I'm dieting, but the fat is coming off nicely:) |

Yes, I knew he was good from reading the articles for so long! I spend less time inside the gym now, but have way better results! That T-Nation thing was bogus!!! That guy was soooooo mean and angry! Thanks for saying that:) |

Thank you so much, so are you! My photo shoot is Monday the 13th and Tuesday the 14th. I'm flying to LAX on Sunday to give myself a little time to lose the airline bloat first! I think it's going to be an amazing shoot! |

If you follow the plan, you are sure to get great results! I think it's really refreshing to know that you can actually enjoy your life (and have one!) while you get the body of your dreams. Training, and eating smarter is the way to go! |

Missmg,
Do you cook all your meals in bulk and portion them out for the week? |

Hey missmg--That's great that you've had such great results and that it hasn't been torture! I've been toying with the idea of getting a custom nutrition plan, but I keep telling myself that I should work to stick with the basics first before I try to get a customized plan--would you recommend just going for it or waiting til I can stick to one of the basic plans? |

WW's plan, IMO, encourages adherence. It's simple and "basic." It's ALL laid out for you. No guessing. You won't regret it. |

Right after I make my grocery run, I measure out my protein portions, baggied and freeze. I just pull out the portions I need and cook required serving amounts the night before...sometimes two days ahead, depending on my schedule.
Raw veggies I slice/chop and store them in their separate containers in the fridge.
Precook broccoli/asparagus etc. Sometimes I freeze, sometimes I just store in the refrigerator.
Eggs I have to have cooked just prior to eating.
TIPS: Purchased a new set of containers solely for my diet meals.
Stick all the protein sources under the broiler at the same time.
Cook your veggies in the same pot of water.
Love to hear some more tips. Trying to get it down to a science as well. |

transform-n...great advice. I do similar to you, I cook a lot in bulk, eggs, oats, protein...
Ziploc Steamer bags are my best friend, and I use them for my veggies (which I cannot stand cold or reheated).
I love gladware, it is easy to fill and bring to work with whatever I need that day, and it is cheap!
I have my WW plan stuck to the fridge, I eat breakfast before I leave the house, the guys in my cafeteria know my salmon order as soon as I walk up, and I bring one or two other meals to work depending on the day.
Any other ideas? I am always looking for time saving methods. |
